Answer : I’m going to use this to count my grocery purchases and round up as I shop. It won’t give you an exact amount doing it this way, but you will have a general idea of how much you have spent. Rounding up will also keep you from going over a set amount you wanted to spend, so that helps.
Question : How does it hold up under rapid clicking? (I'm thinking of an aba application, in other words, recording frequent human behavior.)
Answer : I click it over 250 times a day to keep track of work. Sometimes I rapid click in succession. Haven’t had any issu

Question : My counter sometimes sticks, can I give it a few drops of oil?
Answer : If you use oil make sure it is the type you would use on an electric razor blade. It’s light and will not leave a heavy film and only put a drop on the lever mechanism.
Question : I am left-handed. Will it work comfortably for me?
Answer : You can tally easily. The counter is on top. To reset the dial back to 0, it is on the right but you could turn it so that it is on the left, the numbers would be upside down. You are just turning the dial back to zero. So I think it’s would be fine if you don’t mind that.

Answer : Regular plates steel.
Question : Can it be clicked with other fingers I have arthritic thumbs? Might sound like a dumb question, but I never used one.
Answer : Yes! It all depends on how it is positioned in the hand. Can easily be held in the palm of the hand and clicked with the index finger, etc. Good luck.
Question : Can this be used in the pool to count laps?
Answer : 'At' the pool: sure, 'in the pool' I'm thinking probably not. It's not a reliable counter anyway. It gets jammed up and doesn't continually click forward to the next number as you push the counter button.
