- Question : Why was blue tape used on the older style packaging?Answer : The blue tape was used to seal around the cap area and reduce the possibility of oil leakage during transit.
- Question : Is this therapeutic grade essential oil?Answer : Therapeutic grade is just a marketing term. Any essential can claim this term!
- Question : Will this kill a plant if sprayed on it(diluted)? I am having a problem with whiteflies and spiders outside in the bushesAnswer : It largely depends on the plant and dilution rate. You can always try a small amount of solution of and apply it to a few leaves of your bush to see if it reacts. In my own experience - neem oil, essential oils, and sticky yellow traps all work to a degree but not if you have an infestation. The source must be eliminated or allowed to dry completely. You could try trimming the bushes to increase airflow right above the ground. Or mix sand into the first 3 inches of soil to help it dry faster.
- Question : how much water do i add to dilute the oil when spraying to repel spiders?Answer : Rather than diluting the oil, I spray it directly on what’s necessary, like cotton balls. It dries within a couple days, so I remoisten with a spritz of water. Works wonders and saves money.
- Question : What is the country of manufacturing? And method of manufacturing?Answer : The country of origin for the lavender is France and it is steam distilled.
- Question : Will this get rid of roaches?Answer : do not know but most insects and pests do not like the smell of herbs and peppermint is one of the strongest. the rats run
- Question : will this kill ground bees?Answer : It might repeal them a little but dish's soap and water works well on bugs, the drying agents in powered dish soap penetrate their exoskeleton and they die of dehydration.
- Question : Can I use this essential oil in candles ?Answer : Some essential oils become toxic when burned, especially to pets. All essential oils are toxic to cats - even when diffused. Their liver can't process any of the components of essentials oils and will build up until liver failure starts. Any aroma particles in the air eventually fall to the floors...and cats walk and lay in the floors.
- Question : What is the diluting Ratio for mice control inside and outside a home?Answer : It should tell you on the container, many areas I just used it as it is. I used a spray bottle for the outside with it duluted, but inside full strength on cotton balls, use gloves as it is very strong
- Question : Can this be sprayed outdoors to prevent rodents from going in car ?Answer : Absolutely! I put 3/4 parts water to 1/4 parts oil in a spray bottle; spray along walls of garage and near vehicles. I have not seen or heard mice/rats in 1 year. Works for me! Hope this helps.
