Despite concerns about the weight of two 24" DELL monitors, the free-standing V base is surprisingly stable and not front-heavy. The design incorporates a sufficient moment arm distance to ensure balance. However, one issue arises when following the installation manual, particularly with Dell monitors. Step 5 cannot be performed after step 4 due to the recessed VESA mount on the back of Dell monitors. This requires a workaround where step 4 needs to be undone, step 5 performed, the monitors laid face down on the floor, step 4 repeated, and then the entire V base assembly lifted and set on the desk to continue with step 6. It would be helpful if this issue was addressed in the installation manual or on the Mount-It website. Overall, the MI-2781 Monitor Stand is a solid and well-balanced option for holding two monitors, and it is easy to assemble. Some customers have reported wobbling in the VESA mount, making monitor adjustments difficult, but this seems to be a specific issue with the bracket on the back of the VESA mount being too wide.
