The LUXPaper 8.5 x 11 Paper in Midnight Black is a smooth paper with an 80lb. text weight. It has a sheen due to the smoothness of the paper but not a glittery shimmer. Customers have used it for paper folding as well as letter writing and decoration. The paper takes writing on both sides without bleed through. One user compared it to black artist paper and found it to be the same. It has been difficult for some users to find a black paper text weight for their projects, and they are satisfied with this purchase even though it is slightly pricey. However, some customers were disappointed as it was too flimsy for their card-making projects or they found it to be too dark. This paper is not coated, and it has a black core.
