3Dio binaural audio is being used in a wide variety of applications all over the world, such as: field recordings and nature sounds, filmmaking, sound design, live music, recording studios, ASMR & YouTube videos, theaters & places of worship.
In addition to the 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo output jack, this upgraded version of the FS microphone includes two XLR outputs (L&R) that support phantom power. Power the FS XLR using the 48V supply from your audio interface, digital recorder or mixing console. Additionally, the FS XLR outputs provide a hotter signal when compared to the 1/8" output.
The 3Dio FS XLR comes standard with a 5/8" microphone stand adapter installed in the base. The microphone stand adapter can easily be removed. The base of the microphone has a 1/4"-20 female thread mounting hole that can be connected to a Hot-Shoe adapter or used to mount directly onto a tripod or grip handle.
The 3Dio FS XLR contains a 9V alkaline battery inside. The battery is used to power the microphone capsules for the 3.5mm output and lasts 300+ hours of continuous use.
Every 3Dio FS XLR microphone ships with an 8" long 3. 5mm (1/8") stereo TRS M2M cable. All FS XLR microphones include the silicone ears.
