Answer : Hi, I already had a transformer from the previous owner of the house I bought. So I didn't have to buy a new one. But yes you need a transformer from 110 to 12 volts. Hopefully, this answers your question.

Answer : Search for 700KLAINSCL for insulated cable or 700KLABAREC for bare cable and order by the foot. Remember to order TWICE the length of your system since there is one cable per side.
Question : Can I run the cables up a sloped ceiling, tilt the fixtures so they hang down vertically then aim the fixtures at walls on either side?
Answer : Not sure if one can do this. It's somewhat has fixed aiming so the bulbs do not hang.
