Trying to locate a replacement cable for this item. Anyone have any success finding one?

Almost any HDMI cable will operate this unit....but not all have the extra connection to charge the battery. Be vigilant when you replace cables.

According to the instructions you could only get US Mexico and Alaska map

Does the device say recalculating if you make a wrong turn?

Normally it only changes your route. Sometimes it says the make a U turn 50 feet ahead or something like that.

It's a junk GPS, look at other brand.

Does the TomTom have free maps for the US, Canada, Mexico & Europe?

This is for the North America maps only. Which include Mexico USA and Canada. No European countries included.
