Set it down for 5 minutes, adjust again and again, if necessary, to get it perfectly calibrated to your other gauges. Then put it back together.

Do you need one for a veiled chameleon?

Yes, you need a thermometer + hygrometer due to their high humidity needs. The zoo med analog style(2) dial face does a great job.

What is the top temperature for a thermometer for a baby bearded dragon tank?

The temperature gauge ranges from -20f to 120f. I find that the thermometer on this unit seems to be fairly accurate, but the hygrometer is questionable.

Do I need two of these for each side of my baby ball python's tank?

Depending on the size of the tank, if it's larger than a 50 gallon, then it's recommended. If it's a 50 gallon or smaller, just put it in the middle.

Should I put this on the hot or cool side of my ball python terrarium?

Either side is fine, but it's recommended to put it on the warmer side just to be safe.

How do you get it to stick to a glass tank?

Clean the glass first. Put it on the back wall of the hot side of the tank or use more Velcro tape or mounting squares to replace it.

It's recommended to have one on each side of the tank, so that you can assure that the dragon will get a good thermal gradient.
