Almost all fabric that is waterproof/stain-proof and breathableAnswer : I think the bib is really easy to clean. I haven’t had an issue with staining but with that being said I clean my bibs right when my child gets done using them so they don’t have time to stain. They are not a breathable Muslim material but a very good wipe off bib material. Not plastics a littler more flexible than plastic. I recommend these I use these personal with my 8 month olds daughter and I love them! I also have the mushie brand bib it’s a little more expensive than these but the mushie brand is completely silicone and dish washer safe and I have that brand and I use this brand over the high dollar brand Bc of my child hates the way the neck part is on the mushie verses these. Plus these have cute prints for boy or girl!

I'm concerned the opening will be too narrow or even close.Answer : The pocket works better than my other bibs, it stays open a little more, I think because of the way they sew it. It’s on the back and you flip it inside out and it keeps it more open.

Do they shrink or change shape when they are put through the washing machine?Answer : Do not shrink or change shape when I wash them. These have no other fabric but are 100% polyester. They are waterproof, feel slick, almost plastic, but soft & supple.
- Question : Are these big enough for a 2-3 year old?Answer : Yes, and they are not rubber fasteners. Love them
- Question : Do these catch food as good as the more rigid bibs with the bowl like pocket? I need something that will catch as much food as possible.Answer : Yes, these work really well, the pocket is pretty big and catches a lot!
- Question : Do they keep clothes dry? Every time I feed my baby her clothes are soaked!Answer : These actually do a pretty good job at keeping them dry. They are thicker than another set I have that have arms as well & they don’t provide much of a barrier for liquid but these ones are truly the best ones I’ve come across especially in that regard!
