The product is easy to use to fill gaps of 3/8" that are 1/4" deep, but it is not recommended to fill gaps between logs of a log home (chinking). Customers have reported issues with the product not sticking correctly and staying soft, however, others have noted the finished product holding up well and having very little shrinkage. The color of the product has been mentioned by reviewers, with some stating that it was a perfect match, and others suggesting that the dark brown was more like gray. Additionally, there is a recommendation for an alternative product called "Through the Roof" for patching leaks.
