No, you cannot. It is not allowing me to hear. Buy an interface Focusrite is what I use and it comes with a version of Pro tools. There are a lot better mics for around the same money.

What adapter will I need to be able to use my android with this product? I understand that I need an adapter for the audio jack?

It has jack cords and cords that come with it.
