- Question : Should I worry about any charcoal dust/particles staining my clothes in my gym bag? What about bamboo charcoal?Answer : The only way the charcoal would be released from the inner lining is if it is punctured. When it came out, it was more like very fine grains of sand. The ones in my daughters dance bag are still in great shape though and nothing has come out of those and we've had them for a while.
- Question : Can I put one mini bag per closet?Answer : Probably not. The company offers larger bags.
- Question : Will these work for sandals?Answer : Yes, we use them in our sandals as well.
- Question : What is the size of the bag?Answer : 7 inches long
- Question : Why do fish tank charcoal work?Answer : Charcoal absorbs odors. Can use charcoal briquettes, too, in the sock. Just make sure to use the regular kind, not self-lighting with lighter fluid added to them.
- Question : Can I carry these in my carryon while flying?Answer : Yes.
- Question : Will one of these mini bags be good enough for a car?Answer : The small ones are great for sneakers and gym bags. I would use a slightly larger one for a car, especially if you are trying to cover up smoke.
- Question : Can I refill these after two years?Answer : I'm sorry to say that I don't see that it would be possible.
- Question : Will these bags remove persistent laundry scents from leather footbeds of shoes?Answer : They neutralize the smell quite a bit, however, as soon as you wear your shoes again, they'll smell again. However, they do their job really well. They prevent the buildup of smell.
- Question : Will these remove the funky smell from particle-board closet furniture?Answer : These do better to prevent smells from occurring than remove current smells. They work best with new or damp surfaces. The furniture already has that wood/glue particle board smell, which is difficult to get rid of. The closet furniture should be placed in a well-ventilated area until the smell goes away.
