- Question : What is the maximum size of batteries that can be held in the removable front pouch?Answer : The removable front pouch is large enough to hold common location mixing batteries like an NP-1 style battery cup or portable USB-C battery tanks.
- Question : Can accessories be attached to the bag?Answer : Yes, MOLLE-style straps outside and inside the bag allow attaching accessories in any configuration.

- Question : Can you use the dual battery sled attachment while the mix is in this bag?Answer : Yes and no. You really can’t use batteries bigger than 550’s with this bag and also with the Orca 27 same thing.
- Question : Why does this cost as much as some of the recorders it holds? Is a recorder included?Answer : This is made for the sound device mix pre field recorder.
- Question : Does this fit the sound devices mixpre-10 ii recorder?Answer : Yes, it fits the min.
- Question : How do you access the bottom without removing it?Answer : The front flap actually wraps around so that when you detach it from the velcro, it unrolls to access the bottom of the recorder. All sides of the recorder are accessible with this bag. I'm currently using it with a Tascam DR-70D and it's slightly larger than that unit so I have a small extra piece of velcro padding on the inside to take up the extra space. This is a well-designed, well-constructed bag.

The K-Tek Stingray MixPro Bag with Kickstand for Sound Devices MixPre-3MixPre-6, Tascam DR-70DDR-701D, Zoom F4F8 Recorders is a well-designed and well-Constructed sound bag. It feels like it will last forever and protect sound gear in even more extreme working conditions. It is lightweight enough to hike with, yet sturdy enough to protect the recorder in case it falls. It is easy to access all sides of the recorder. It fits the sound devices mixpre 6 perfectly. Specifically, it fits the 8-AA battery sled, and there's a way to access and change out those batteries without having to remove the entire device from the bag.
