The Microsoft Surface Dock 2 aims to extend the trackable power of your Microsoft devices through an all-in-one docking solution. With connectivity options available for smartphones, desktops, notebooks, monitors, keyboard and mouse via its 6 USB ports and network RJ-45 port, it provides an easy one-click connection for a clutter-free working environment. The dock's pre-installed firmware also ensures your machine is up-to-date and ready for use upon connection. Some users experienced difficulty getting two monitors to work, sound not coming out of the dock connection and the connection being too sensitive. One user experienced screen dimming after a few minutes while using the Dock 2. On the other hand, it was easy to set up, and the Dock 2 worked well with a Microsoft Surface 5 laptop and Surface Pro 8 tablet. Some users found having a third monitor enhanced their work experience.
