Question : Can we do A1c test every month?
Answer : It is not necessary to do an A1C test monthly as the A1C number is calculated from your last 3 months of glucose readings. You can do monthly, if you want, but it counter productive & kind of a waste of money as it takes 3 months for your numbers to show a difference. Thank you
Question : Is there any difference in the 4 self tests and the 10 professional tests?
Answer : The A1C Now products all have normally anywhere between 9-12 months of expiration dating, as set by the manufacturer. Typically, home users cannot use up the 10 ct professional kit before they expire & end up throwing away most of the kits because they expire usually the same time as the home use 4 ct kit. Also, the professional kits do require refrigeration to maintain their full expiration date. If not refrigerated, the 10 ct only have a shelf life of 3 months. When you are ready to run a test, take the whole box out of the fridge & let the kit warm up to room temperature for about 1-2 hours before testing. If you try to run a test without letting it warm up first, it will cause an error message & waste a test kit. When you are finished testing, put everything back in the box & back into the fridge. Thank you
