Although it can be used on stainless steel, caution should be taken not to mix it too strong. The product is not recommended for removing grout haze from non-sanded cement and is a thin, almost water-type liquid. A technical support team recommends the product for use with Mapeli Flexi Color CQ, despite the high alkaline in the product that may take off finishes of Stainmaster Vinyl tile flooring. Customer experience and reception of the product is mixed. Some found the product to be ineffective at removing the epoxy grout and did not recommend it to others. One customer even recommends using muriatic acid instead. Others found the product helpful in removing the haze from marble, stain-resistant tile, and mosaic floor tiles after a bit of elbow grease. One customer even used a scrubbing drill brush accessory for better results on stubborn grout haze.
