It also comes in WP and WG (white blenders). I have both and they are absolutely compatible. Blades and base ring fit the threads on either the glass pitcher or the plastic one. The plastic ring that screws on to hold the blades broke immediately for me. B and D charges $37 with tax and shipping for JUST THAT RING. I just bought a whole extra blender for parts and paid $13 less!
