The Insignia Fire TV is a smart, small-screen TV that comes loaded with most streaming apps. It is great for small spaces, such as dorm rooms, and is easy to connect to WiFi or Ethernet for streaming. It has standard inputs/outputs, including 3 HDMI inputs, 1 USB input, 1 Optical Audio input, and one 3.5 mm headphone Audio Output. The TV functions via Blue Tooth using the remote control. It is a lightweight TV, so mounting it on the wall using a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount with two screw posts is possible, but caution is advised on the use of the bottom two mounts that may cause the TV to lean forward. The TV has great picture quality, but the audio could be better. Some users experienced problems with the plastic legs at the base of the TV being impossible to install, and navigating the web with the remote control can be difficult. The TV can be used as a speaker for a wireless Echo Dot connection, ideal for a small bedroom where volume needs to be kept lower. While some of the extra features may not be a priority for everyone, it is a great product, especially for its price.
