SmallRig Cage for Sony FX30 FX3 is designed to provide maximum protection and a wide range of accessory mounting options for Sony FX30 FX3 users. It comes with 14" threaded holes, 38" locating holes for ARRI, a built-in cold shoe and NATO rail, and an HDMI cable clamp made for FX3. Users can comfortably mount their accessories without having to dismount the cage. SmallRig Customer Service confirms that the Sony top handle can be used with the cage, but the modular NATO rail must be removed when using the original XLR handle. There seems to be some confusion with the availability of the NATO rail, which is included with the purchase but cannot be purchased separately. It is also reported that the raw metal and distressed look of the edges of the cage gives a used appearance, which may not be suitable for professionals. However, the majority of the reviews found the cage to be functional, built well and suited for professional use. The HDMI clamp accommodates the clearance of the HDMI port door securely.
